There’s no better way to describe our situation than “blessed”. We make a living sharing something we LOVE with the world. How amazing is that? We recognize that there’s no way it would be possible without your continued patronage, and we wanted so badly to find unique and helpful ways to give back, so we are announcing “Stumpt! Serves”.
This is our way to choose a different organization each month that we feel strongly about, and donate a portion of our proceeds to them. A community doesn’t thrive unless we all lift each other up now and again.
This month, we’ve chosen to partner with The Ashland Culture of Peace Commission. From their mission statement, they exist “To inspire, activate, and model a Culture of Peace in Ashland, Oregon which will serve as a beacon of light for all humanity. “ We think that sounds pretty great, and one of the founders is our friend Irene Kai, so we knew coming in that it was a top-notch organization. However, we were truly hooked once we heard about the Ashland World Peace Flame.
“On September 21, 2018, the International Day of Peace, the World Peace Flame was lit in the Thalden Pavilion, Sustainability Center on the Southern Oregon University (SOU) campus in Ashland, Oregon.” reads their website. We encourage you to browse their website and follow them on Facebook, but please enjoy, here, just a small fraction of some of the joy that can be found there.
Please consider contributing to this amazing cause, and if you’d like to do so through Stumpt!, book a room for Easter Sunday (April 21st), and we will donate 20% of the proceeds to the Ashland Culture of Peace Commission.
Thank you for your continued support, and for making the Rogue Valley the amazing community we love being a part of!
